After just a week officially in the race to unseat Congressman (Do Nothing) Dennis Moore - Steve Rose announced today that we was withdrawing from the race. Despite some much not needed details involving blood and weightloss - Rose said he was quitting on the advice of his gastroenterologist, saying the campaign is exacerbating his Crohn's disease, a painful digestive condition that he said he's had for more than 40 years.
Still in the race, Olathe Republican Patricia Lightner (http://www.patricialightner.com/). Rumors still circulating whether Overland Park State Representative Kevin Yoder will enter the race soon.
While Rose dropped out, I did not. So feel free to add me as one of the filed candidates for the 3rd District race.

You can bet that Rose will undercut every Republican in the race and, certainly, the one who runs against Moore in the general.
